Lucy Johannsohn

Marketing Coordinator

An Australian award-winning newspaper journalist of five years, Lucy Johannsohn moved to Vancouver, BC in 2012, where she has been based ever since. During her journalism career, she worked as a reporter covering daily news; police and emergency rounds; supreme court, state parliament and politics; as well as health and education at a regional daily newspaper prior to accepting the role of Chief of Staff where she managed an editorial team comprised of 20 reporters and photographers. Seeking adventure, she arrived in Vancouver with a work permit and was hired as the Online Community Coordinator for the local company Nutriva Group where she put her editorial talents to good use managing the dairy and egg brand Vitala Foods’ web and social media properties.

She is now Nutriva Group Marketing Manager in addition to being Operations Manager for the company’s not-for-profit division, EcoDairy – a one-of-a-kind demonstration farm partnering with Science World British Columbia. She is responsible for business development, human resource management, program development and marketing EcoDairy as the Fraser Valley’s science and technology education hub.

This is Lucy’s second year working as part of the Render team where she assists with marketing strategy and media relations.
